📝 List of return statuses

At any time, return requests can be classified by one of the following statuses.

Status

Description

Pending approval

  • This status is assigned to each new request
  • Requests will be approved automatically if you have enabled the auto-approval feature 

Approved 

  • Returns that have been approved are assigned this status
  • Once a request is approved, customers receive a notification with instructions to ship the return items.

Shipment received

  • Once the returns package is received, you can update the return status to shipment received
  • Customers receive a notification immediately after a shipment is marked as received  

Rejected

  • Returns that have been rejected are assigned this status
  • Requests in the pending approval and approved state can be rejected manually by going to the Returns admin page

Resolved 

  • Once return requests are completed successfully, their status can be updated to Resolved
  • Customers receive an email upon successful completion of the request

All notifications are triggered automatically upon each step of the returns process. Notifications can be fully customized to meet your branding requirements and can be sent from your custom email addresses.
